According to CRN, the average growth rate of participants this year was 85.3%, which came from companies of all shapes and sizes across Australia. A 9.4% jump from last year's average, showing tremendous improvement across the board. Most notable was the new entrant RIoT Solutions, pegging in a 343.01% growth in 2017, which was enough for it to take line honors in this prestigious event.
Revenue was broken down into three broad categories: hardware, software and services . From the article, we learn that services have continued to provide growth becoming the dominant category as services services encompass the delivery of infrastructure and applications.
About 30 of this year’s companies made more than half their revenue from services, both project-based services as well as recurring managed services.
