13. Tracking Codes
In this video, Paul MacNeill discusses Account segments and how that enables Tracking. This feature means you don’t have to create multiple Chart of Accounts to track different areas of your business (eg. Office Location) you can just use Tracking to allow you to analyse the different areas of your business.
Tracking allows you to define separate segmentations that you would like to report on. From here you can run a Profit and Loss Report that enables you to compare your selected segmentations.
