Wise-Sync & Wise-Pay Update | 2 July 2019 Release

A new version 4.6.5 / 1.6.5 for Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay is now available. This includes enhanced performance improvements, corrections, and newly added capabilities for taking your user experience to the next level.

Among these exciting new features, the Wise-Sync (v4.6.5) and Wise-Pay (v1.6.5) releases encase an AutoComplete rectification, an added information function for syncing service dates, Google+ changes, and many more as provided below.

Wise-Sync - Version 4.6.5

Disabled AutoComplete for Username, Password, and API Key Fields:

• Following user reports of accidentally making changes to either their username/password and/or API credentials when using Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay Users and Accounts, which resulted in errors, we've now disabled AutoComplete across all of these fields. 
  
  
• However, AutoComplete is enabled for the login screen only. Please note, this particular feature only affects anyone whose browser uses autofill to populate online forms or password managers, whereby the username and password are automatically generated across websites. 
  
  
• You don't need to do anything, unless you're using the LastPass browser extension or an alternative password manager that doesn't respect a website's AutoComplete=off function. In that case, simply visit here for instructions on how to configure your LastPass Browser Extension / Disable AutoComplete / Autofill for Specific Websites. 

Sync Service Dates for Invoices:

• Now, you can add more information to the invoices synced to your accounting package by simply displaying the 'Service Date' on your invoice lines; a beneficial update for both Datto Autotask PSA and ConnectWise Manage customers. 
  
  
• As displayed in the screen capture of a QuickBooks Online invoice above, you can also control where along the invoice line you would like the 'Service Date' to appear. Though if you're a Xero user, the 'Service Date' can only be displayed in the description of the invoice line. 
  
  

Accounting Platform Generated Invoice Numbers (for Autotask Users):

• This highly expedient feature is specifically for Datto Autotask PSA users: You can now sync invoices that are generated in Autotask without an invoice number, thereby allowing the accounting package to generate the invoice number. 
  
  
• Following this, as soon as the invoice number is assigned by the accounting package, Wise-Sync will update Autotask with the invoice number. 
  
  

Wise-Pay - Version 1.6.5

Disabled AutoComplete for Username, Password, and API Key Fields:

• As outlined in further detail via the Wise-Sync (v4.6.5) release notes above, we've now disabled AutoComplete across username/password and/or API key fields. Here, AutoComplete is only enabled for the login screen. 
  
  
• Since Google has ended Google+ consumers, we've consequently decided to remove the Google+ configuration from Wise-Pay, which means both event and general notifications will no longer contain links to Google+.
