Meet Freddy

Q: What does a typical day working at Wise-Sync look like for you?

Freddy: My primary routine is to follow up on sales leads for both new prospects and existing customers, but I also help out with some support and consulting engagements.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your journey at Wise-Sync?

Freddy: Hard to believe it's been almost 3 years! When I first started in my role as our first US-based employee, we had a pretty lean team where everyone wore so many hats. With the later adoption of the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), our team has since grown to 25+ ninjas from across the globe (including our team of three now here in the USA), and it's been amazing to watch everyone fall into the "right person, right seat" (EOS framework).

Over the years, my primary role was heavily focused on consulting, but in the past year, I've transitioned into a sales role where I've been able to utilize my domain expertise (ConnectWise Manage) to help our customers find the products they need to sync their data, eliminate errors, and improve their cashflow. It's been such a rewarding journey, and I'm excited to see what's next!

Q: What do you love most about working at Wise-Sync?

Freddy: I think working for an organization based on the other side of the world, traveling to Melbourne, Manila, and across the US for events has given me a more worldly perspective on life. The Wise-Sync ninja group is a very diverse group of colleagues from all different backgrounds.

One of my favorite quotes is from Mark Twain. He said “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

Q: Looking back, what was one of the best work events you attended, and why?

Freddy: Ah how I miss traveling (and life before COVID in general)! I think everyone does...

My favorite Wise-Sync trip was DattoCon (2019) in San Diego. It was the first time DattoCon was held in San Diego, and we met so many great people there. Snoop Dogg performed, we scootered all around the city, and we sponsored an amazing after-party at Moonshine Flats with our fellow vendors for all the DattoCon attendees - definitely some fantastic memories from that trip.

Q: Who are your go-to artists at the moment - who're you listening to?

Freddy: I have a really eclectic taste in music. I go through phases of EDM, Country, Alternative, Top 40 / Pop, Hip Hop, even the occasional 70s playlist -

Over the past year, I've enjoyed pretty much anything by, or featuring, Roddie Ricch and Juice Wrld. 'Rockstar' by DaBaby (feat. Roddy Ricch) was probably my favorite track of 2020 thus far.
